Britt Jung
Vizslas
Specialty (1)

Vizslas have been part of my life since I was four years old. I showed and finished my first Vizsla in 1980 and bred my first litter using the "Brittania" prefix.  I breed occasionally and have bred more than 40 titled dogs, including Master Hunters, MACH Agility, BISS and GCH, Search and Rescue, as well as, Sporting Group and BIS Conformation winners.
I began judging Vizslas in 2007 and have been privileged to judge throughout  the country.  I have been the "qualifying on the line" judge for the Vizsla National Gun Dog Championship on two occasions and am very supportive of events to support the versatile hunting dog.  I am currently approved to judge 23 Sporting breeds and Junior showmanship.  As a judge, I strive to make the show experience as positive and enjoyable for the dogs, as well as, the exhibitors.
My career in education supports my dogs habits. I started as a teacher in middle and high school. Since 2001, I have worked at the US Department of Education and currently lead state programs designed to address the impacts of COVID-19.
Molly Bogan
 Labrador Breeder

Specialty (2)
As a young child I grew up with English Pointers and my father competed with them in AKC Field Trials. The whole family would go to trials with him. We always had hunting dogs and their puppies.  Early on I learned the importance of a sound and correct build in dogs, that allowed them to do the job for which they were bred.
I became a breeder of Labrador Retrievers 30 years later and continue to compete with them in both show and field venues.  Having bred 14 Show Champions and 4 Master Hunters, I am proud of these accomplishments. In 2016 I became an AKC Judge and have really enjoyed being able to see beautiful dogs and meet their breeders.  I have judged Sporting Breeds exclusively because I feel that is my forte.
I have judged Weimaraners in numerous states and have seen some gorgeous dogs.  I look forward to and am honored to judge your 2021 Specialty.
Val Fare
Moodshadow Weimaraners
Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes
Born into an army family, I traveled the world while growing up.  After finishing college I decided I wanted a dog, and having grown up with a lab/weim cross, the choice was easy!
Moonshadow Weimaraners was established in 1977 with the birth of the "A" litter. My last litter is the "Y" litter, born in 2015.  It has been a wild ride of highs and lows.  I have put over 40 Obedience titles on dogs I bred and owned, with many ranking in the Obedience Top 10 for 15 straight years. A number became Champions with 3 earning the Bench Register of Merit title.
A bookkeeper by day, I also worked extensively in the movie, IV and flat ad industry.  There are some very interesting stories, from elephants and tigers, wrangling long horn cattle, to working on the set with Barney and filming a movie with him. Dog actors came from the homes of people I knew in Obedience and Agility. My film and commercial resume includes numerous well known hits from "My Boyfriend's Back" to JC Penney and McDonald's.
I have definitely had a full and interesting life, but my first love is still the Weimaraner.

Ashmore Weimaraners

Junior Showmanship
I began with Weimaraners in 1995. Like many novice puppy buyers, I got my first Weim from the pet store! He was called Ashmore, which became my kennel name. Starting with obedience, I was soon guided by a respected Weim breeder, Judy Colan, and my second Weim added show ring and field experience. This foundation led me to breeding numerous champions, BISS, BROM and a top producer of maturity winners.
Following a five-year break, I acquired a grandson of my top producing sire.  He finished his CH and GCH,  plus multiple Specialty wins with ease, then earned field, obedience  and WCA versatile titles.  My most recent dogs include Gold Grand Champion,  WCA retrieving ratings, Master Hunter, Futurity and Maturity winners.
I have judged multiple Specialties, and All Breed shows in both the U.S.A. and internationally. President of the Lone Star Weimaraner Club for 8 years, I am also on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Ring Stewards Assoc. It is my honor to judge the future of our sport, the Junior Showmanship Class.
