The Lone Star Weimaraner Club is located in the North Texas area with members and friends throughout Texas and surrounding states. ​We have one thing in common....we LOVE our Weimaraners.  If you own a Weimaraner or would like to know more about the breed, we welcome you to attend any of the meetings or events of the ​Lone Star Weimaraner Club. “Purposes of the LSWC”, (from the Club By-Laws)
To encourage and promote the responsible breeding of purebred Weimaraners and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
To urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Weimaraners shall be judged.
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, field trials, obedience trials and in all matters pertaining to the advancement of our breed.
To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, field trials and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club; to sponsor and encourage the children of members to participate in bench, field, and obedience activities.
